A transparent, data-driven score that tells job seekers and organisations how inclusion-ready an employer or expert is โ at a glance.
The Inclusion Trust Index is a 0โ100 score assigned to every employer and expert profile on InkludX. It is designed to give people with disabilities, neurodiversity, or other barriers to employment an immediate, honest signal of how inclusion-ready a potential employer or advisor really is.
The score is not a certification, accreditation, or legal guarantee. It is a living indicator โ it rises as profiles are completed, accommodations are listed, community ratings come in, and verified credentials are added. This means scores improve organically as the platform grows.
Crucially, the methodology is fully transparent. Everything that goes into the score is documented here, and we will update this page whenever we change the formula.
Base score
Every profile starts at 50 โ we assume good intent by default.
Accommodations & expertise areas
Up to +30. Each listed accommodation or area of expertise demonstrates concrete inclusion capability.
Inclusion statement
A substantive statement (20+ characters) on the profile showing active commitment.
Community rating
Coming soon. Verified ratings from job seekers and community members will adjust the score by up to ยฑ20.
The score is capped at 100 and floored at 0. It is recalculated automatically whenever a profile is updated. Future versions will incorporate additional signals โ see the roadmap below.
Outstanding, proactive inclusion practices across accommodations, hiring, and workplace culture.
Strong, consistent inclusion support with clear accommodations and inclusive hiring processes.
Foundational inclusion practices in place โ actively building towards fuller inclusion.
Limited data or practices currently recorded. Completing your profile improves this score.
Expert profiles on InkludX are self-reported. Experts sign up, fill in their background, list their areas of expertise, and describe their inclusion approach. We do not currently independently verify academic credentials or employment history.
What we do to ensure quality
Over time we plan to introduce optional third-party verification of credentials and partnership status with recognised disability and inclusion organisations, which will add verified badges distinct from the Trust Index score itself.
InkludX tools โ including the Trust Index, job matching, and knowledge resources โ are developed iteratively with input from the disability and inclusion community. Our guiding principles are:
Community-first
Features are shaped by feedback from job seekers, employers, and experts who use the platform every day.
Transparent by default
We document methodology publicly. If a scoring formula changes, this page is updated with the reason.
Iterative & honest
We ship early and label things clearly โ a feature marked 'coming soon' is on the roadmap, not vaporware.
The Trust Index today relies solely on information users provide directly. In future phases we intend to enrich profiles with the following data sources โ all handled transparently and with user consent:
Complete your profile, add accommodations, and write an inclusion statement โ your score updates instantly.
