UK to Pay Full Wages for 6 Months to Get Young Disabled People Into Work – New Jobs Guarantee from April 2027

The UK Department for Work and Pensions announced on 27 September 2026 a groundbreaking Jobs Guarantee for young people with disabilities or long-term health conditions. From April 2027, eligible individuals will receive a guaranteed job offer from the 13th week after their work capability assessment. According to the 2026 Alan Milburn Interim Report, 45% of NEET young people in the UK now have a disability, up from 21.1% in 2013/14.
